Digging out the clay… Almost pure clay about one spade depth down. Hole completely full of water by next day.

Making a suspension
Suspended clay particles ‘creamed’ off and left to settle. Spoils a big pile on the right. Still a lot of clay in there!
After 24h about 1cm of settlement. Will take a while! Probably need to do a few washes as well. Check back next month!
